Production of models
Patterns shop
The Patterns shop produces models from wood, resins, Styrofoam and Textolit. Our own models and clients’ models are stored in some of the largest air-conditioned warehouses in Poland.
Moulding
Founding moulds are made manually. Depending on the material used and the design of the casting, chemically bonded and synthetic sands are used.
Pouring into moulds
Moulds are flooded with liquid metal from bottom pour ladles and tilting ladles with the maximum capacity of 15 Mg.
Knocking out the mould
Moulds are knocked out on a vibration grate, built in a dust- and sound-proof housing.
Metalodlew sponsors the band Treetops
The band Treetops was formed in 2004. It plays instrumental ArtRock.
Metalodlew SA - Mister Of Export 2008
Krakow’s foundry Metalodlew SA was awarded the main prize in the Mister and Junior of Export contest organized by the National Chamber of Commerce with the participation of the Poznań International Fair and the Rynki Zagraniczne weekly, under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy.
ITM Fair Poland 2008
Between 9 and 12 June 2008, at the premises of the Poznań International Fair, a special 80th edition took place of ITM Poland – fair of modern technologies for industry. Metalodlew held its exhibition again at the Metalforum Hall (The Hall of Metallurgy, Steelworks, Casting and Metal Industry).
